Powder coated products are more resistant to diminished coating quality as a result of impact, moisture, chemicals, ultraviolet light, and other extreme weather conditions. In turn, this reduces the risk of scratches, chipping, abrasions, corrosion, fading, and other wear issues.
Sand Blasting
Sand blasting is used to finish, clean or prepare metals using a variety of media in blasting machines and a blast room. Blasting removes surface debris such as rust or other types of residual contaminants and scale. This process is also important in the cleaning and roughening of part surfaces before coating. The increased surface adhesion of a suitably blasted part results in a stronger bond between the coating and the parts surface.
